Authentically outfitted reenactors recreate 19th century Texas settler life by demonstrating folk music, blacksmithing, black powder weaponry, open fire cooking, and more. Assistance is also needed with crafts, cooking, baking, food service, greeting, parking, photography, and music.
New volunteers must first download & complete the attached volunteer application form. Because we work with and around children at the park, the county requires that all volunteers submit to a criminal background screening. (at no cost to you)
Volunteers under 16 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. A parental permission form is also required for those under age 16.
