Join the staff and other volunteers at the Akokisa Indian Village for a celebration of tribal culture. Volunteers are needed to demonstrate and teach about the native peoples that lived in Southeast Texas circa 1830.
New volunteers must first download & complete the attached volunteer application form. Because we work with and around children at the park, the county requires that all volunteers submit to a criminal background screening. (at no cost to you)
Volunteers under 16 years old must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian. A parental permission form is also required for those under age 16.
