Join The Woods Project as we prepare to send 155 Houston high school students on a life-changing 2-week wilderness experience.
On this day, we will be doing final prep and packing of our summer backpacking food and making sure we have everything needed to keep our students and volunteers fully fueled for their trip.
We rely on our volunteers to help ensure that our gear and food is adequate so that we can provide an excellent experience for the students and volunteers that will be out with us this summer. Please join us, even if you can only make it for part of the time. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Please bring a refillable water bottle and comfortable clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Lunch will be provided.
We would like volunteers to be 18+ or accompanied by an adult.
Access & Parking:
The warehouse entrance will be to the right side of the building on Coronado St. Please DON'T park in front of the building. There will be street parking available on Coronado as well as on the back of the building.
We will have waivers on site, but you may review in advance. No need to print and send :)
