Hours: Variable/negotiable Location: Variable Duties (Responsibilities): Possible tasks include: - Assist with women¿s health awareness workshops on breast and cervical cancers: pass out materials, help plan workshops and presentations, conduct surveys, translate materials into Spanish or Vietnamese; experienced volunteers can eventually plan and conduct their own workshops. - Help to create women's support groups by surveying needs and recruiting members. - Facilitate a women¿s support group - Help facilitate screenings and clinic planning Requirements (Qualifications): Volunteer should be mature, trustworthy, and dedicated towards serving the Vietnamese community. Bilingual fluency in English and Vietnamese is helpful, but not required. Personal car or transportation is not required but is helpful.
