Friends of Down Syndrome Academy is a nonprofit facility where teens and adults with Down syndrome come to continue learning after they have "aged out" of public school.
Looking for volunteers to work as a Teacher's Aide in our PE room. You would assist our Coach, who is a Personal Trainer, and garner tons of information about working with special needs adult.
Volunteers are needed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you can volunteer on a regular basis but can't do all three days, just let us know what works for you.
