The Kids’ Reading Room is a501c3 nonprofit organization that promotes literacy and instills a love of reading in children. We create libraries for elementary students in disadvantaged apartment communities across Houston. Our community is made up of individuals who have a deep love of reading, and because of them, these children have positive and enriching literary experiences. It is our mission to help younger generations gain more knowledge, advance in reading, and expand their opportunities for the future.
We are seeking the support of a development team member. You will help to plan development programs, such as fundraising events or campaigns, which will bring in funds for our organization. As this team member, you will be an integral part in keeping our organization moving forward.
