The Kids’ Reading Room is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that promotes literacy and instills a love of reading in children. We create libraries for elementary students in disadvantaged apartment communities in Houston. Our community is made up of individuals who have a deep love of reading, and because of them, these children have positive and enriching literary experiences. It is our mission to help younger generations gain more knowledge, advance in reading, and expand their opportunities for the future.
We are in need of a volunteer who will be in charge of seeking and writing grants. Your expertise will help to secure much needed funds for our organization.
