Bereavement Volunteer: Provide support to grieving families via phone calls, in-person visits and activities, and assist with support groups.
Vigil Volunteer: Sit with dying patients so that they are not alone, provide respite and support to families at this time.
Volunteer Opportunities at Divine Comfort
Home Care volunteers are ordinary people of all ages who share a common bond–concern for others. They provide support that helps enhance the patient’s quality of life and reduces the family’s caregiving burden. Volunteers help in many ways and are limited only by their imagination. We are always welcome to new ideas.
