Friends of Northside is a non-profit organization with the vision of empowering people to attack poverty in their life and community by strengthening under-resourced communities through spiritual growth, education, revitalization, and basic needs. Our financial education program is the Faith and Finance class through STCH Ministries.

Become a Faith & Finances Ally
Allies walk alongside people participating in Faith & Finances, joining them on their journey. Allies work with each participant, providing encouragement, advocacy, and supportive friendship. Along the way, Allies learn just as much—or more—from participants as they come together to discover God’s design for their money. There are also opportunities for Allies to be trained as lead instructors during the course of the program.
Time Commitment
Volunteers are requested to commit to participating for the length of the course.
Our programs average 10 to 12 weeks, with breaks for any holidays.
We believe this time commitment is necessary to foster relationships based on trust, respect, and the love of Christ, and will allow the volunteer to see the direct benefit of their role as a mentor/tutor.
