Smart Start Summer Sessions

DSAH will be hosting a Smart Start Session and we need volunteers to help!

Smart start is a program for parents that have a child with Down syndrome entering kindergarten. This program allows the parents to ask questions, learn about local resources, and to meet other parents whose children are also preparing to enter kindergarten.  They also will better understand what successful students with Down syndrome have in common.


Dates: July 22, August 12, September 23, 2015 (Wednesdays)

Duties include:

• Set up
• Interaction during any actives.
• Assisting with activities for childcare
• Breaking down after classes
