Do you have a passion for styling hair and a heart for making people feel their best? Harbor Hospice in Baytown is looking for licensed hair stylists to bring smiles, dignity, and personal care to our hospice patients.
A simple haircut or style can transform someone’s day, giving them a boost of comfort, confidence, and normalcy. We would love for you to share your gift with those who need it most!
What You’ll Be Doing
In-Home Visits: Visit patients in the comfort of their own homes throughout the local community to provide basic haircuts and styling.
Facility Visits: Provide haircuts for patients residing in local care facilities.
Companionship: Offer a friendly chat, a listening ear, and a warm presence during each styling appointment.
Role Requirements
Active State Cosmetology / Hair Stylist License.
Compassionate, gentle approach when working with elderly or medically frail individuals.
Ability to travel to patient homes or nearby partner facilities (flexible schedule arranged around your availability).
Completion of Harbor Hospice’s quick volunteer onboarding and background check.
