Domestic Truth Foundation is a Houston-based 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence through crisis intervention, case management, healing programs, advocacy, and long-term systemic reform. Fellowship Overview
The Technology & Digital Infrastructure Fellowship is a leadership-track internship designed for individuals who want hands-on experience building real-world systems within a growing nonprofit.
This is not a shadowing position. Fellows will actively participate in designing, organizing, improving, and protecting our digital ecosystem.
Because infrastructure takes time and continuity, we strongly prefer a one-year commitment to allow Fellows to build, implement, and refine systems effectively.

What You Will Work On
Digital Systems & Infrastructure
• Structuring and optimizing Google Workspace
• Building internal workflows and automations
• Assisting with database development and tracking systems
• Documenting standard operating procedures
Website & Digital Platforms
• Supporting website updates and troubleshooting
• Assisting with course platform management
• Supporting SEO and technical improvements
• Ensuring accessibility and functionality
Technology Operations
• Troubleshooting staff and volunteer tech issues
• Managing permissions and digital access controls
• Supporting cybersecurity best practices
• Developing internal guides and training materials
Data Security & Confidentiality
• Assisting in implementation of secure data-handling systems
• Supporting compliance protocols
• Maintaining strict confidentiality standards
Innovation & Expansion
• Researching tools that improve efficiency
• Assisting with automation initiatives
• Supporting long-term digital scaling strategy

Ideal Candidate
• Pursuing or recently completed degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong organizational and independent work skills
• Comfortable solving technical problems
• Interest in mission-driven organizations
• Experience with Google Workspace required
• Website and automation experience preferred
