The Houston Community ToolBank stewards an inventory of tools for use in the charitable sector. The ToolBank is serious about cost-sharing, so we use a small staff and rely heavily on volunteers to operate efficiently.
We’re a small but dedicated team, and we need your help! We’re looking for a few individuals or groups to support us with various tasks that our team simply can’t manage on a daily basis. If you can spare a few hours, your support will have a lasting impact!
Tasks include:
- pulling tool orders for pickup
- putting away returned tools
- cleaning tools - repairing tools - organizing tools
- painting new tools
- & much more!
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and a willingness to pitch in
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- No specific experience is required (we’ll provide instructions!)
- Closed-toe shoes & work clothes
- Tool expertise is not necessary, but it would be a plus!
