The Ripley House Community Center is looking for committed volunteers interested in serving as the first point of contact for neighbors and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing inquiries, and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate programs.
- Provide basic information about the campus and its services.
- Ensure visitors go through sign-in station.
- Perform light admin tasks.
- Ensure the front desk area is tidy and presentable.
- Assist staff with special projects when needed.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Basic computer skills.
- Prior customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Must be at least 14 years of age.
- Gain valuable administrative and customer service experience.
- Opportunity to contribute to the services provided by BakerRipley.
- Letter of recommendation, if needed.
- Volunteer t-shirt after volunteering for 10 hours and other volunteer recognitions.
