Since 1968, Magnificat Houses, Inc has housed more than 20,000 adults experiencing homelessness and served over 10 million meals through our Loaves & Fishes soup kitchen (currently paused), residential homes and day programs in a healing community. We don’t offer drop-in volunteering. Even simple service is organized in advance so we can protect the dignity, privacy, and rhythm of life for those in our community. There are many ways for volunteers to help.
- Most opportunities are Monday-Friday
- One or two volunteers, small groups up to 8, or any size group, we'll find a project for you
- Top opportunities are donation drives, bringing prepared food, gardening, admin support, and photography
