Volunteer at the event & watch the films for free!
Volunteers must attend a pre-event virtual orientation.
CEC (Citizen's Environmental Coalition) is looking for volunteers to help us host an amazing event! If you're interested in any of the roles below, please RSVP for one of the mandatory virtual orientation sessions by registering for this volunteer need.
ROLES
Check-in (5:00 - 6:30 pm)
6 volunteers, 3 at each check-in table
- Set up 2 check-in tables with CEC and sponsor signage and materials
- Check in attendees as they arrive
- Acknowledge and express gratitude to sponsors and CEC members as they check in
- Encourage attendees to subscribe to CEC's newsletter
- Set up goody bags/giveaways on the table, so attendees can take one when they arrive/leave
- Staff the tables during intermission
Sponsor Champions (5:00 - 6:30 pm)
4 volunteers, 2 at each check-in table
- Study talking points for our 3 sponsors prior to the event
- Greet attendees after they check in and share info about our 3 event sponsors while promoting the raffle
- Help check-in volunteers distribute goody bags if needed
Ushers (5:00 - 6:30 pm)
6 volunteers, 3 at each entrance
- Stationed just inside the theater entrance between until 6:30 to help attendees find open seats
- Be aware of where ADA seating is located in case it is requested
- At intermission move chairs from backstage to the front of the stage for the panelists/discussion
- Also encourage attendees to subscribe to CEC’s newsletter when the opportunity presents itself
Breakdown (7:00-7:30 pm)
At least 4 of the volunteers from earlier roles
- Take down the tables and pack up any leftover materials
- Help load cars after event (may be after 8:00 pm)
