Do you enjoy connecting with people and empowering others to make a difference? TWST4Girls is looking for a Volunteer Engagement Specialist to help recruit, engage, and retain volunteers who are crucial to our mission of empowering young girls.
Role Overview
In this role, you’ll help attract and onboard volunteers, provide training and support, and foster a positive experience to ensure long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit volunteers for various roles (mentors, facilitators, event support).
- Engage and recognize volunteers through communication and events.
- Assist with volunteer training and development.
- Gather feedback and improve the volunteer experience.
- Work with program teams to align volunteer needs with goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in volunteer management or recruitment (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for youth empowerment and community development.
Time Commitment
- Approximately 2-5 hours/week, with a 12-month commitment preferred.
