Hope Impacts is moving to a new location in 2025! We are excited to have a larger space to offer richer services to our participants. January & February will be transition times as we prepare to make the move. Due to this, our volunteer needs have changed, please see the below descriptions for roles and positions available until we resume services in the new space.
Front Desk Aid - answering phones, greeting people at the door, provide updated information on services and hours
Donation Intake Specialist - Determine if we can take the donations, refer elsewhere, sort, and organize, provide receipts when appropriate.
Resource Verification & Update Aid - confirm all current resources are still valid, remove or update as needed, locate new resources if possible, type up categorized resources lists to hand out to clients or other agencies, and reorganize the main resource binder.
Packing/Moving Prep - Use boxes or packing materials provided to begin collecting, packing and positioning items to move to the new space. Once renovations have been completed, transport packed items to new space, organization vehicle available for volunteers with valid driver licenses.
File Scanning - assist by scanning documents into preset folders and file paths.
Clothing Order Filler - starting on Jan 8 we will be filling clothing request orders from our night program, this will involve checking eligibility for items, recording items given, collecting & packing items for delivery, clearly marking items with client information.
EACH POSITION MAY DIFFER IN AVAILABILITY AND OTHER TASKS MAY BE ASSIGNED AS THEY ARE NEEDED. YOUR FLEXIBILITY IS APPRECIATED.
