CrowdDoing supports a social innovation venture lab and a portfolio of social enterprises. Both the lab and the social enterprises aim to achieve systemic change through collaboration with virtual volunteers.
Legal Compliance Manager will partner with a lawyer who is co-leading this.
This is an unpaid volunteer position.
Tasks:
- Develop and maintain the organization’s compliance policies and programs .
- Coordinate with cross-functional team leaders to understand their requirements and design controls to mitigate compliance risks.
- Identify compliance risks and report to the Compliance Committee as appropriate.
- Conduct internal audits and manage metrics to monitor the health of compliance programs.
- Identify, measure, and report on control deficiencies in the organization.
- Work with the legal team to provide support as needed for organizational management.
- Manage the organization’s document management system of policies and processes.
Skills:
- Professional experience in compliance management preferred.
- Strong leadership skill and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Strong attention to details and capable to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive compliance data.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills especially for non-compliance audiences.
- Excellent project management skill and able to multitask efficiently.
