Breakfast Bag Assembly

Expired

Description

Come join the fun and spend your afternoon serving the community while being active! Volunteers are needed to help in assembling breakfast bags for our most frail and isolated seniors in the Meals on Wheels Program. The breakfast bags are delivered once a week and provide breakfast for our seniors for 7 days.  The bags usually consist of cereal bars, cereal, applesauce, peanut butter packets, shelf-stable milk, and fruit cups. This is done at our Midtown office (3202 San Jacinto, 77002). This activity is easiest if done in a group, so bring friends and family! Yet, can still be done individually. We depend on volunteers to help us with these needs and would love to meet you!

You may park at 3202 San Jacinto in Volunteer spots, do not mark in any Staff spots. You may also park at 3303 Main Street, in Visitor spots, do not park in Staff spots.

You will not receive a confirmation email. You can just show up and we will expect you! If you cannot make it simply delete the shift on Volunteer Houston and we will be notified. For any more questions please email volunteerinfo@imgh.org
