IM's Meals on Wheels for Greater Houston and Galveston County is the largest Meals on Wheels provider in Texas and one of the largest in the United States. We deliver nutritious, fully prepared meals to an average of 5,000 hungry, homebound seniors in Harris, Galveston, Montgomery, Liberty, and Chambers counties each day.
In 2021, we were able to serve a total of 7,300 seniors, thanks to the support of our community!
Our Meals on Wheels program fills a vital need in our community - providing meals, friendly visits, and more to thousands of homebound seniors. The daily visit, along with the meal delivered, helps our seniors feel connected to their community and stay healthy, in every way.
Volunteer Drivers help us deliver more meals and friendly visits to seniors, who need us. This mid-day delivery experience is an invaluable way to spend a lunch break, once per week. Houston - Let's Do Lunch!
