Jesse Jones Park offers free education programs to groups on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the months of August through May. Volunteers are needed to lead school-aged children, scouts, and other groups for an interactive nature program that includes a visit to the Nature Center and a one hour walk through the park.
No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
New volunteers will need to complete a volunteer application form that is located on the Jesse Jones Park volunteer webpage (https://www.hcp4.net/parks/jjp/volunteer/). Because we work with and around children at the park, all volunteers must submit to a background check at no cost to you.
