If you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, help us grow our community garden! You will help plant and care for plants that will produce fruits & vegetables that will be used in our food pantry or as a part of a healthy lunch for seniors.
The garden is located behind the Mamie George Community Center in Richmond, TX.
- Volunteers most needed Wednesday mornings 7:45-10:00 am
- Monday 7:45-10:00 am
- Wednesday 7:45-10:00am
- Friday 7:45-10:00am
No experience necessary! Just be able to take direction is all that is needed.
- Must be able to work outside in morning weather (7:45 - 10:00 am) while being on your feet and bending to pick vegetables
- No heavy lifting involved
- Garden is organic except for ant killer and some fertilizer
