We are looking for volunteers with the passion to help us distribute food to people of the northeast community.
Target Hunger is a community-based nonprofit, which depends upon the support and input of our community to successfully alleviate hunger and its root causes in the Houston neighborhood by providing more than 5 million pounds of food annually to families, children, sick, and seniors, thus, to those who need it the most.
Our organization values those who wish to make an impact on their community. You are proof that change and impact lay in the hands of those who desire to serve.
Activities: include unloading vans; sorting and boxing incoming food donations; building food boxes and bags for our clients. These positions require being able to lift 25-35 lbs, repetitively. Closed-toe shoes recommended.
