WorkFaith’s Marketing & Community Engagement Department is seeking a part-time Virtual Office Assistant to join their team! As Virtual Office Assistant, you will work closely with the MCE department to create engaging experiences for our clients and build life-giving partnerships. This is the perfect volunteer role for anyone who would like to gain more experience in office administration or for those who would like to use their office administration skills to ultimately help job seekers gain long-term employment.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the MCE Department.
- Perform general office administrative duties including data entry, monitoring social media, and organizing digital files and folders.
- Complete research as assigned and update staff on researchable items.
- Handle multiple projects as assigned by office management.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and knowledge of operations and job duties.
- Other virtual tasks as assigned by the MCE department.
- Ability to come to the office one a month for mailings or phone calls if needed.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Some office administration experience
- Proficient in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office Suite and can easily navigate the internet.
- Detail oriented, organized, pays close attention to detail.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with ability to multi-task, remain organized and prioritize daily tasks and projects.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Flexible Volunteer Hours
- Choose 3 days per week (Monday – Thursday)
- Choose 1 shift: 8am – 1pm CST or 11am – 4pm CST (includes 1-hour break)
- Commit to serving for 3 months
