Every 67 seconds, someone in the United States develops Alzheimer's. We need your help to ensure that everyone affected by this disease has access to information in their time of need.
You can join the fight and help teach families in your community about Alzheimer's disease by serving as a health fair volunteer.
As a health fair volunteer, you'll represent the Alzheimer's Association at community events right here in the Woodlands area. Health fair volunteers greet individuals who visit the Association's table and share information the important services and programs offered in The Woodlands and Montgomery County.
Volunteers are able to choose which fairs they'd like to attend through an online database, so you can choose which times will work best with your schedule. Volunteer opportunities exist during the day, in the evening and on weekends.
You don't need to be an expert on Alzheimer's disease to help out. Each volunteer is trained to learn more about Alzheimer's disease and the services the Alzheimer's Association offers. This is a great way to bring an important service to your community and help families in need of resources to get support they need.
We do ask that volunteers are at least 16 years old.
