Family Service Day 2019!
Bring the family, grab some gloves and help Volunteer Houston and Generation SERVE beautify Bentley Community Center and make holiday center pieces! We'll be outside on a beautiful (but chilly!) day planting flowers and native plants along with 15 trees and inside making festive center pieces that will be auctioned off to benefit the community center. A great opportunity to give back as a family during the holiday season!
- Where: Bentley Community Center, 10918 Bentley Street, Houston, 77093
- When: 9 a.m. - noon
- What to bring: The family! Children must be at least 5 years old. Grab an old pair of gloves too if you want to help with planting.
- What to wear: Layers - it will be a chilly morning, jeans and close-toed shoes.
- We'll bring the shovels and trowels, water and snacks.
