*Currently recruiting fall teachers* If you're compassionate, fluent in English, and can volunteer for 4 hours per week, we want YOU to help a small group of Houston adults learn to speak English. You'll meet some amazing people, experience the joy and fulfillment of helping others succeed, and know that you're making Houston a better place for all of us!
NO prior teaching experience or second language is required. If this volunteer opportunity is for you, we'll train you, match you with a group of adult learners and support you as you get started on the exciting and hugely rewarding activity of helping your neighbors learn English as a second (or third!) language (ESL).
Classes are held Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday, mornings and evenings. Training to teach fall classes will be offered in July. Fall classes start in late August.
