Our Deconstruction team takes apart buildings and structures that would otherwise be demolished and helps save usable material from landfills by recycling materials and selling them at our ReStore. The revenue generated from the deconstruction projects goes back to Habitat to be used to help continue our mission of building decent, affordable housing. Volunteering with our deconstruction crew is an excellent way to meet friends and learn new skills in a fun environment. We hope you join us soon!
Location and Schedule
? Monday – Thursday 7:30 – 3:00
? Locations vary – New projects begin each week
Reservations
? All volunteers must fill out a volunteer waiver before coming to the deconstruction site
? Groups of 3 or more must schedule with the Volunteer Coordinator
Age Limits
? Volunteers must be 18 years of age to participate
What to Bring/Wear
? Clothing that you can get dirty
? Closed toed shoes
? A water bottle
? Lunch
