Volunteer for FotoFest ? Fine Print Auction Welcome to FotoFest?s Spring 2014 season! FotoFest is an international non-profit arts and education organization looking for interested and reliable people 18 years of age and older to participate in our 2014 Biennial Fine Print Auction. The FotoFest Fine Print Auction takes place during the Biennial and is the major fundraising event for FotoFest. Fredrick Baldwin and Wendy Watriss, Co-Founders of FotoFest, select and contact photographers, whose work is of interest to the collecting community. In addition to the Auction itself, which will be held on Monday, March 24th, there will be a preview exhibit and an opening reception. Volunteers are needed for duties such as: loading/unloading, wrapping/unwrapping of the prints; set-up and clean-up for the opening reception; catalogue sales; gallery hosting; silent auction set-up, volunteer check-in, general check-in and greeting duties; auction spotters, runners and art handlers. It is not necessary to have an art or photography background ? all we ask for is your enthusiasm, support, generosity, and willingness to learn new things. By volunteering, you will have the opportunity to learn about photography and meet others with similar interests.
