Friends of Down Syndrome is hosting our Annual Family Picnic in the Park on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our campus in Houston (8425 West Rd, Houston, TX 77064). This free outdoor event is a celebration of our amazing participants—adults with Down syndrome—and their families, volunteers, and supporters.
We’re looking for dedicated, friendly volunteers to help us make this event joyful, smooth, and unforgettable for the community we serve.
- Be our go-to helper wherever needed throughout the event! Floaters may assist with trash pickup, checking on vendors, providing breaks to other volunteers, helping lost guests, or jumping in for last-minute tasks. Great for flexible, helpful individuals.
