Friends of Down Syndrome is hosting our Annual Family Picnic in the Park on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our campus in Houston (8425 West Rd, Houston, TX 77064). This free outdoor event is a celebration of our amazing participants—adults with Down syndrome—and their families, volunteers, and supporters.
We’re looking for dedicated, friendly volunteers to help us make this event joyful, smooth, and unforgettable for the community we serve.
- Help serve burgers, hot dogs, chips, and drinks to families and guests. Volunteers will assist with keeping the food area tidy, restocked, and running smoothly. A food handler’s license is not required, but basic food safety will be reviewed on-site.
