Wonderful opportunity to assist passengers in need and make a big impression for our great City!
WHAT DO VOLUNTEEERS DO?
- Providing directions throughout the airport and information about airport amenities
- Assisting passengers with finding appropriate transportation and accommodations
- Providing suggestions to sightseeing attractions in the Houston and surrounding area
- Facilitating communication between airport tenants, airlines, and passengers
- Volunteers are staffing the airport information booths, on occasion volunteers may be assigned to roam in the baggage and security area.
- Relieve passengers stress and anxiety by providing a big southern hospitality greeting "WELCOME TO HOUSTON"
VOLUNTEER TRAINING INCLUDES:
- Volunteer will be trained by an ambassador mentor under the direct management of the volunteer program manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Application, Background Check, and one time on sight orientation.
- Commitment of a minimal of 16 hours a month divided in four-hour shifts
- Commit to a minimum of 6 months
VOLUNTEER REWARDS:

- Parking privileges during volunteer hours
- Two weeks complimentary parking after six months of service (Vacation parking)
- Annual recognition event
- Invitation to airport events and activities (tours, open houses, fieldtrips, etc.)
- Uniforms will be provided (polo shirt, sweater, jacket) must provide own black slacks/ skirt.
