Volunteers needed for Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center's annual Pioneer Day, Saturday, November 9.
Volunteers needed to assist at craft booths, as hayride monitors and kitchen assistants and more. Pioneer Day includes living history demonstrations of Texas settler and Native American life in the 1830s, including blacksmithing, spinning, woodworking and much more. The event is a free, fun-filled family event that is supported by the Jesse Jones Park Volunteers.
Volunteer shift times are 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.; 12:30 - 5 p.m.; or 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
