Enjoy an evening of live music on The Brown Foundation, Inc. Plaza. This evening features performances by dancer and choreographer Genene McGrath and musical group Two Star Symphony quartet.
This summer series creates synergy between different art forms and celebrates Houston’s vibrant arts scene with live music, art and performance demonstrations, and hands-on art-making experiences. Each evening also features food vendors and a cash bar.
About the Artist
Originally from Philadelphia, Genene McGrath has a bachelor of arts degree in dance from Point Park University in Pittsburgh. She has worked with the Missouri Contemporary Ballet and performed with Peridance Contemporary Dance Company in New York. Over five seasons with METdance, McGrath has traveled to locations including the Green Box Arts Festival in Colorado, Dallas Dance Fest, and Austin Dance Festival.
