On Saturday, April 27, Girls Empowerment Network will be hosting our annual We Are Girls (WAG) Houston Conference at Hogg Middle School!
We Are Girls is a statewide, multi-city event designed especially for girls in grades 3-8 and the adults who care about them. With dynamic break-out sessions and an empowering dance party, girls get to be totally in charge of their day. They walk away inspired by what’s possible and with a new belief in their personal power. The 2018-2019 theme is "Ignite Her Power."
There are a variety of roles at the We Are Girls Houston Conference and volunteer positions are available for people of all genders. Note: there is a mandatory volunteer training on Saturday, April 20 from 1:00pm-2:30pm at Hogg Middle School. This training will provide an overview of volunteer roles, expectations, the layout of the event, and provide all logistical information needed.
