What is GenHTX?
GenHTX is a collaborative movement by Houston area youth, ages 16-25, and organizations that engage youth, to realize a future where young people are involved in their community. When young people are given opportunities to shape the systems and structures that support our communities, we can build a future that everyone can get behind.
What is GenHTX in Action?
GenHTX in Action is day-long event aimed at increasing voter turnout by bringing together communities from all over Houston in a celebration of civic engagement and the act of voting. This event is put on by organizations and partners who want to generate a positive shared experience around civic engagement and want Houstonians to be excited to be a part of a healthy democracy.
