Event description: Chase call/follow-up program
Open Enrollment for the Marketplace is coming up fast! And this time it is a short period compared to past years. We are wanting to engage uninsured consumers and those that need to re-enroll and remind them about signing up for health insurance. November 1st marks the beginning of the Marketplace opening until December 15th. Our contact with consumers raises the likelihood that they will enroll into affordable, quality health care. Come with us and help impact family trees because access to care is very important for a vibrant community.
Volunteer duties: To connect with uninsured consumers via phone to help them with information about open enrollment for the Marketplace and on how to sign up for affordable, quality health care.
Volunteer Dates: Monday to Friday, From October 23rd – December 15th (Not on Saturday or Sunday)
Hours: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
How many volunteers are needed: 10 per day
Age requirements: No age requirements
Special training needed: Quick ACA 101 and how to make appointments
Location: 4th Floor DOC, 8000 N Stadium Drive, Houston, TX 77054
Parking: Free in the parking garage
