Please RSVP if you have donations to drop off on Saturday October 15. This volunteer request is only for donation drop-off. If you would like to help sort/organize donations, please email Barbara.Carroll@HomelessGayKidsHouston.org.

Clothing and Toiletries Needed!

Help the kids by donating clothing and toiletries.  We will be accepting and sorting clothing and toiletry donations on Saturday, October 15. From 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Items needed include:

Clothing

  • New socks
  • New male & female underwear sizes xxxs to xxxl(males tend to prefer boxers)
  • New or gently used pants, shirts, bras, undershirts, skirts, shorts etc
  • Scrubs and sweat pants
  • T shirts
  • Belts
  • Ties
  • Interview clothing for male and female
  • Shoes
  • Coats
  • Jackets
  • Blankets
  • Sleeping bags
  • Back packs
  • Bags and satchels
  • Rain ponchos
  • Plastic or paper grocery bags

 

Toiletries

  • Travel sizes of the following:
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Bath soap/ body wash
  • Deodorant
  • Toothpaste
  • Dental floss
  • Mouth wash (without alcohol)
  • Bug spray
  • Sunscreen
  • African-American hair products
  • Gels/ mousse etc
  • Moisturizing lotion
  • Shaving cream
  • Sewing kits (needles, thread, buttons etc)
  • First aid kits
  • Male and female condoms and silicone lube
  • Feminine hygiene products (tampons, pads)
  • Wet-wipes
  • Combs/picks/hairbrushes
  • Tooth brushes
  • Disposable safety razors
