As part of continuing effort to support troops, the Harris County Sheriff's Office is hosting an event called Sweat IV Vets on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Harris County Sheriff's Office Training Academy located at 2316 Atascocita Rd.
This event is a fundraiser to benefit wounded/disabled veterans, and will include competitive events such as a 5K, 5K wheelchair, 1K, No Sweat and a fitness challenge competition (compine style press off, extreme pullups, and squat till you drop). All proceeds of the event will be donated to a well-established non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to assisting wounded veterans.
