Each year, tens of thousands of people nationwide unite to transform the anniversary of 9/11 into a powerful force for good. 9/11 Day is a National Day of Service and Remembrance—honoring those we lost and the courage and compassion shown in the aftermath—through meaningful acts of service.
This year, in 24 U.S. cities (including Houston), volunteers will pack over 9 million meals for people in need.
In Houston, 1,000 volunteers will gather at NRG Center to pack 350,000 meals for individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. All meals will be donated to the Houston Food Bank.
We are currently recruiting Support Staff Volunteers to help bring this incredible event to life!
