Who We Are

United Against Human Trafficking (UAHT) is a Houston-based nonprofit dedicated to preventing and ending human trafficking through education, advocacy, coordinated response, and direct survivor support. Since 2005, UAHT has worked alongside community partners across Greater Houston to strengthen how our city identifies, responds to, and prevents exploitation. Our work includes youth prevention education, adult survivor case management, professional training, and coalition leadership, all designed to create safer pathways and long-term stability for those impacted by trafficking. Volunteers are an important part of this mission, helping us raise awareness, strengthen community engagement, and expand the impact of our work across Houston.

What We Do

We work across Greater Houston to prevent exploitation, support survivors, and strengthen the community’s response to human trafficking. Our work includes prevention education for youth and vulnerable populations, trauma-informed case management for adult survivors, professional training for frontline providers and community partners, and coalition leadership that helps connect systems and services across the region. Every part of our work is designed to create safer pathways, increase awareness, and help survivors move toward healing and long-term stability.

When you volunteer with UAHT, you become part of a larger movement to protect vulnerable individuals, support survivors, and create a safer, more informed community for all.
