The Place of Hope

Founded in 2021, by Carolyn Dawkins, The Place of Hope was created to address unmet needs in Houston, Texas. During storms, holidays, and times of crisis, families often struggled to find help when they needed it most. That’s why we are here—to provide food, clothing, supplies, and most importantly, hope. We partner with organizations, churches, and community leaders to uplift families with practical aid and encouragement. Whether it’s groceries, clothing, prayer, or just a listening ear, we believe in serving the whole person. At The Place of Hope, we know that we are stronger together than apart. By working side by side, we can lift burdens, restore dignity, and shine light into the lives of our neighbors.

The Place of Hope is a nonprofit serving Houston families with meals, essential supplies, and encouragement when they need it most. Together—with donors, churches, and caring neighbors—we are building a brighter tomorrow.
