The African American Male Wellness Agency (AAMWA) is the health and wellness arm of the National Center for Urban Solutions (NCUS), dedicated to improving the health, wellness, and quality of life of African American men, their families, and communities.
We believe that every individual should have access to the resources, information, and opportunities needed to live a healthy and productive life. Through community engagement, health education, prevention initiatives, and free health screenings, we bring critical wellness resources directly into the communities we serve.
Our work goes beyond health screenings. We build partnerships with healthcare organizations, corporations, foundations, community leaders, faith-based organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to address health disparities and create sustainable solutions.
With a presence across communities throughout the country, our collective work has helped connect more than 35,000 people across 11 states and multiple cities with health, wellness, education, and community resources.
At AAMWA, our mission is simple: to empower African American men and the communities they lead to live healthier, stronger, and longer lives.
