CTRL+CREATE is a youth-centered nonprofit based in Galveston, Texas, dedicated to empowering young people through art, advocacy, and creative expression. We create culturally responsive, healing-centered spaces where youth can explore their identities, process emotions, and use their voices to drive change in their communities. Our work is rooted in the belief that young people are not just participants, they are leaders, storytellers, and decision-makers shaping the future.

CTRL+CREATE empowers youth to explore identity, process emotions, and drive change through creative expression. We design and facilitate healing-centered, culturally responsive programs that use art as a tool for advocacy, storytelling, and personal growth. Our work includes: Hands-on Workshops in photography, music, theater, visual arts, and more Youth Mentorship focused on leadership, mental health, and life skills Community-Based Projects like murals, exhibitions, and storytelling campaigns and community gardens. Creative Advocacy that connects youth voices to real community issues. We don’t just teach art, we create spaces where young people feel seen, heard, and empowered to lead.
