Who We Are
What We Do
Since our founding in 1946, The Council on Recovery has been at the forefront of helping individuals and families whose lives have been impacted by alcoholism, drug addiction, and co-occurring mental health disorders. As these diseases continue to affect society, our relentless efforts with prevention, education, treatment, and recovery are helping heal our community one person at a time. When it comes to seeking help, we know it's difficult to make decisions about treatment for a family member or yourself. The process can be confusing and daunting, not to mention expensive. At a time when life may already feel overwhelming. The Council eases those decisions by providing you with thoughtful and straightforward solutions.
