Who We Are

Hearts of Grace Foundation is a locally rooted, 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Montgomery County, Texas (EIN 33‑1757767). Founded by Perla Rodriguez in honor of her late mother, Maria Luisa Rodriguez, our mission is simple yet profound: to uplift vulnerable communities with compassion, dignity, and service. Over the years, Hearts of Grace has grown into a trusted community resource, collaborating with schools, veterans groups, shelters, and local leaders to deliver meaningful outreach in the Houston and Texas region and beyond.

What We Do

Grace Packs Program: Distribute hygiene and food kits (toiletries, non‑perishables, water, socks, personal care items) to individuals in need—especially veterans, the elderly, and those experiencing homelessness. Community Events: Organize more than 40 annual initiatives including back‑to‑school drives, holiday support events, disaster relief distributions, and veteran appreciation gatherings. Youth & Education: Provide school supplies, backpacks, and mentorship opportunities to underprivileged children in local schools. Volunteer-Led Cleanups & Service Days: Host neighborhood cleanups and volunteer events—especially in the East Aldine and SH 242/I‑45 areas—dedicated to beautifying our community in Maria’s memory. Through service-driven partnerships, we provide practical help, human connection, and hope to those who need it most. Every small act—every Grace Pack, community event, or clean-up—is a tribute to Maria’s legacy and a tangible step toward a stronger community.
