Houston Furniture Bank

Our mission is to furnish hope by making empty houses homes. The Furniture Bank provides essential furniture to families in transition, in partnership with Houston-area charities. Since 1992, thanks to the support of our community, we have helped over 40,000 families. In 2023, The Furniture Bank provided over 20,000 pieces of furniture to families in need. The more donations we receive, the more families are able to end “furniture poverty,” and the more children have a safe and comfortable bed to sleep in at night. #NoKidsOnTheFloor

The Furniture Bank’s mission is to furnish hope by “Making Empty Houses Homes.” With the support of industry partners and the Houston community, we work with over 82 social service partner agencies to provide essential furniture to families in need. Furniture assistance means providing the essential furniture that is necessary for family life.
