HOSPICE CARE Comfort and Dignity Through End-of-Life Care at Home Our team is passionate about building relationships with our patients and their loved ones. Whether the need is physical, spiritual, or emotional, our compassionate hospice experts are available to provide the necessary support. Comfort and dignity are the anchors of hospice care. Our clinicians are highly skilled at recognizing and managing symptoms early, in most cases allowing the patient to remain comfortable at home throughout the end of their life.

Currently, we are seeking volunteers to support our hospice patients and their families through patient companionship, administrative duties, and social activities. We would love for you to be a part of our volunteer team to provide care, comfort, and support to those in our community. Traditions Health hospice volunteer team offers a special kind of caring atmosphere that encompasses the medical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects of treatment. Our goal is to ensure the patient lives to their fullest potential with dignity and respect, and that family members are emotionally supported. Volunteering with us might consist of visiting with the patient, sitting with them while their caregiver is away, cooking dinner, pet therapy, music therapy, or even sewing them a blanket. Any way we can serve our patients is beneficial! Our volunteers can choose the days and times that work best with their schedule. Without volunteers, the Traditions Health hospice program could not provide the kinds of services which are needed to enhance the quality of the lives of our patients and their families. We provide training /orientation to our volunteers for them to feel comfortable in carrying out their responsibilities.
