Who We Are
Our goal is to provide programs, services and employment opportunities that will assist people who are blind or visually impaired to be independent members of society. We provide programs and services that identify and develop the individual strengths and needs of each person with visual disabilities so they may reach their full emotional, social, and educational potential.
What We Do
The Lighthouse of Houston is a Community for the Visually Impaired. Our programs and services assist individuals who are blind or visually impaired of all stages and all ages, from infants to older adults. The wide variety of programs and services help individuals gain independence, develop individual strengths, and provide emotional, social and educational support.
